The Pain Behind My Smile
Type Scale:
I wear a smile every day,
While sobs will never speak a word.
While sobs will never speak a word.
Nobody would think that I'm okay,
Because they'll never know the storm within my eyes.
Because they'll never know the storm within my eyes.
I show my tears only when I cry,
Until people ask me "Why?"
Some emotions have no words to call,
And some wounds never seem the same.
And some wounds never seem the same.
I say maybe tomorrow the day is light,
Because maybe today my heart will be alright.
Because maybe today my heart will be alright.
Until that day, I will walk alone,
And hide the sadness I've ever known.
